Job Duties:
•Hire, train, schedule and supervise kitchen helpers.
•Oversee kitchen operations.
•Prepare and cook complete meals, individual dishes, and special meals according to customer preferences.
•May specialize in preparing and cooking ethnic cuisine or special dishes such as curry.
•Maintain and monitor inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
•Plan menus, determine size of food portions as well as estimate food requirements and costs.
•Clean kitchen and work areas.
