Position: Meat Cutter (NOC 63201)
Description: Meat cutters prepare standard and specialty cuts of meat, poultry, and fish for sale in retail or wholesale food establishments.
Job Location: Brampton, ON
Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
Experience: some experience but will train.
Number of openings: 2
Wage: $22/hr
Language: English is required.
Job Duties:
•Cut, trim, and otherwise prepare standard cuts of meat, and poultry for sale.
•Grind meat and slice cooked meat using grinders and slicing machines.
•Prepare special displays of meat, poultry, and fish.
•Shape, lace and tie roasts and other meats, poultry, or fish
•Manage inventory, keep records of sales, and determine amount, product line and freshness of products according to company and customer requirements.
•Ensure food storage conditions are adequate.
