HandleBar Pizza located in Whistler, British Columbia, is hiring for the position of Cook.
Job duties include:
• Prepare and cook high end pizzas to company recipes;
• Prepare fresh ingredients (vegetables, cured meats and cheeses)
• Bake and prepare pizza dough to specification;
• Monitor orders, supplies and inventory;
• Monitoring the temperature of the pizza ovens as well as cooking times;
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards of workspace and utensils;
• Manage food orders, ensuring quality and timing to maximize sales and customer experience;
• Supervise and train kitchen staff;
• Work within a team to ensure smooth service (Front of House and Kitchen).
At least one year of commercial cooking experience is required.
Additional information:
• Wage: $23/hour with potential for periodic review and increases
• Benefits: Per employment standards.
• Job status: Full-time (35-40 hours per week), permanent position
• Vacation: 4% of gross earnings
