Currently, we are actively seeking an experienced and full-time permanent bookkeeper to join our team.The work location is at 74 Old Placentia Road, Mount Pearl, NL.
Job Title: Bookkeeper (Noc 12200)
Job Type: Full time, Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
Manage diverse accounts and uphold accurate financial records.
Record current journal entries and conduct account reconciliations.
Regularly prepare trial balances, payroll documents, T4 forms, and financial statements.
Issue cheques for payrolls, taxes, and various expenses.
Complete and submit forms related to tax remittances, workers' compensation, pension contributions, and other government documents.
Generate necessary statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
Skills & Qualification:
Completion of secondary school is required.
A college diploma in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field is an asset.
A year of experience as a bookkeeper or similar role is required.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail.
Basic Computer skills, e.g. Windows and Microsoft Office
Proficient in English
Fluent in a second language is an asset.
Compensation:
The wage for this position is $29 per hour
Work hours: Monday-Friday, 35 hours/week
10 days of vacation yearly or 4% of annual remuneration
