Job Duties

• Contribute to the formulation of The Briars' strategic goals and objectives, actively participating in the overall management of the organization.
• Provide effective people leadership and strategic guidance to the division, embodying and championing the company's vision, mission, and values.
• Ensure the implementation of an accurate, efficient, and streamlined operations system across the entire company.
• Develop a comprehensive strategy and vision for People Development and Operations, overseeing, managing, and being accountable for the creation and execution of enterprise-wide action plans to achieve strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with mid-level supervisors and managers to ensure that key people development, leadership succession, and people operations metrics are met, reporting on accountabilities as necessary.
• Take charge of long-range business planning, analyzing the business environment, and implementing processes while capturing and disseminating best practices throughout the organization.
• Assist in the development of business structures and personnel, aiming to maximize results by identifying, attracting, developing, and retaining talent through effective employee engagement, communication, and performance management.
• Coordinate with other corporate managers or representatives to ensure the proper execution and timely completion of business objectives or collaborations.
• Represent The Briars occasionally at exhibitions, community events, charity nights, and other occasions, promoting the brand image among local entrepreneurs, investors, and customers.
• Collaborate with the General Manager/Owner to identify and pursue collaboration opportunities in the market, taking responsibility for establishing and maintaining positive public relationships.

Job Requirements

• College Diploma in Business Administration, Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of senior management experiences with solid knowledge of operations and human development is required. Proven experience in a senior leadership role, operations management, or a related field within the tourism and hospitality industry preferred
• An established problem solver with leadership talents: Business Acumen, Conflict Management, Customer Focus, Organizational Agility, Interpersonal Savvy, and Presentation Skills
• A proven leader with a tactical mind with respect to solution development and implementation
• Ability to contribute to corporate operations with conceptual, strategic, and critical thinking
• Exceptional client management relationship



Schedule: Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate: 55 Hedge Rd, Jacksons Point. ON L0E 1L0, reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
