Education:
Minimum Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience - Minimum 7 months to 1 year in the industry would be preferred.

Job Duties:
• Prepare tenders and quotations.
• Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints.
• Apply, level and smooth coats of plaster.
• Clean and prepare surfaces.
• Cure freshly plastered surfaces
• Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife if required
• Finish corners and angles and create decorative designs in finish coat, if required
• Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets.
• Mix plaster ingredients to desired consistency.
• Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry.
• Spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings
• Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound.
• Install exterior and interior steel studs.
• Install vapour barriers and thermal and sound insulation.
• Prepare wall and ceiling layouts.
• Estimate costs and materials.

Work setting: The candidate should be available to work full time in the day or evening.
or on weekends, if required.
Job Environment: The job could be located at heights, be Dusty, hot, noisy and outdoors.
