Job description
Job title: Food service supervisor (NOC 62020)
Full-time permanent.
Work hours: Tuesday-Sunday, 35 hours/week
Wage: $17.00/hour
Work Location: 14 Prince William Dr, Placentia, Newfoundland and Labrador, A0B 2Y0
Language: English
Vacation: Employees are entitled to either two weeks of paid vacation per year or compensation equivalent to 4% of their gross salary.
Job responsibility
1. Supervise the kitchen staff by managing their schedule and job duties.
2. Supervise the food quality in all-rounded.
3. Keep inventory records and orders, to manage and estimate the consumption.
4. Order ingredients and ensure its stability.
5. Schedule and prioritize tasks in order to ensure efficiency.
6. Train the staff to follow the food safety procedures.
Employment requirements
1. Completion of secondary school is required.
2. At least 1 year’ working experience as a food service supervisor is required.
3. Good in leading and managing a team.
4. Good communication skills and work under fast-paced environment.
5. Multi-tasking and good organizational skills.
6. We work and speak in English, and being fluent in a second language will be an asset.
