Nabolsy Contracting Inc. is looking for One (1) Pipelayer Supervisor to perform the following duties:
• Lead and supervise watermain, storm and sanitary sewer crews
• Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers
• Supervise, coordinate and schedule subcontractors onsite.
• Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity
• Prepare layout and field measurements as per drawings and operate pipe laser and transit level.
• Ensure resources and materials are available onsite to perform the work.
• Train, coach and arrange training programs for workers
• Able to lay watermain, storm and sanitary sewer pipes if needed
• Ensure occupational health and safety act and regulations are applied and followed and perform daily Pre-Job Safety and Weekly Toolbox talks
• Prepare daily work, production and other reports
• Use Excel and AutoCAD
• Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions
Terms of Employment:
• Salary: $36.06 per hour
• Permanent, Full Time / 40.00 Hours per week
• Start Date: Immediately
Skills Requirements:
• Language: English
• Education: No education requirement; Civil Engineering Diploma an asset but not a condition of employment
• Experience: 4 years or more; 2 years as a Pipelayer Supervisor an asset but not a condition of employment
