Canadian Icewine United Specialty Hub Inc. is a company that specializes in the marketing and distribution of Canadian Icewine and select alcoholic beverages from leading Canadian brands for the export market. We have established partnerships with major Canadian suppliers of various Vintners Quality Alliance (VQA) brands to ensure that these icewines and other wine products adhere to quality integrity regulations and maintain credibility as authentic Canadian icewines in the marketplace. As our President is currently focused on market exploration, our team is in urgent need of a management expert to perform the role of Operations Manager, to oversee the overall business operations. The successful candidate will be expected to work 40 hours per week, with an annual salary of $83,200. The responsibilities and requirements for this position are as follows:
• Define the company's objectives and develop or endorse policies and programs that align with these goals.
• Organize and conduct meetings to monitor progress towards objectives, providing advice or assistance as needed.
• Oversee the operations of major departments and manage overall personnel planning, with a particular focus on senior staff, middle management, and executive positions.
• Distribute material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs, including establishing financial and administrative controls and formulating and approving promotional campaigns.
• Coordinate work across department to ensure smooth company operations, maintain regular communication with subcontractors to facilitate and promote their sales activities towards achieving sales goals, and ensure efficient logistics.
• Accompany the President in representing the company in negotiations, assisting in reaching and efficiently implementing agreements.
• Organize and attend gatherings on behalf of the company for liaison and other official functions with key clients, suppliers, partners, public sectors, media, and other third parties to maintain relationships.
Requirements:
• College diploma in business administration, finance or other related fields is required.
• At least three years of experience as a manager in retail and wholesale industry is required.
