The successful candidate is responsible for the operation of the Home & Building Solutions store located in Redvers, SK.
You will participate in the development of budget goals and lead the achievement of financial results in the areas of sales margins, SPEH (Sales Per Employee Hour), inventory control, expenses and profits within established timelines. Provide periodic inventory counts as required.
You will participate in the formulating of department goals as they relate to Corporate Performance Management (CPM).
Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability.
You will be responsible for the management, maintenance, and security of the store location and property while providing operational direction and oversight in the implementation of programs and policies.
You will be responsible for building strong customer relationships and delivering solutions and to oversee and monitor client satisfaction levels, ensure customer issues are resolved, and identify areas for improvement.
You will provide leadership to the team, including recruitment, goal setting, performance management, training, and development of team members including providing daily direction.
You will assist and lead marketing efforts, adhere to advertising standards and create innovative marketing plans.
You will ensure all staff adhere to Co-op standards regarding: merchandising, signage, staff appearance, housekeeping, Health & Safety and Loss prevention.
You will keep familiar and up to date with current and new products in the market.
You will perform other duties as required by the General Manager.
