Kanuka Thuringer LLP is seeking a fulltime employee for the position of Operations Clerk and Reception Support in our Regina office.
The successful candidate will enjoy working in a team environment where flexibility and the ability to reprioritize quickly are valued attributes. A clerk is mobile throughout the building, mostly utilizing the stairs, as documents and office supplies are moved internally in paper as well as in electronic form. Clerking encompasses a wide variety of duties and responsibilities and one day is seldom similar to the next. If you possess solid computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, and enjoy client service interactions in person and on the phone, clerking may be of interest to you.
Previous experience in a professional office setting is a great asset as well as a clerical and/or administrative background. An excellent command of the English language both spoken and written is essential.
Daily duties of this position may include, but are not limited to:
-delivering documents internally between floors and externally to the courthouse and other firms
-photocopying/scanning/binding documents
-organizing incoming office supplies
-filing books & documents in legal library
-sorting & delivering incoming mail, processing outgoing mail
-lending clerical assistance to legal assistants
-backup support for main Reception
-tidying kitchen areas & maintaining adequate levels of supplies
