Description

SUMMARY OF POSITION:  Provides Production Management in the delivery of programs and projects for adults with intellectual disabilities.  Holds primary responsibility for the smooth functioning of the production department and business office.

ACCOUNTABILITY:  Reports to the Executive Director

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leadership
    Leads a small team in coordination with the Program Manager: training staff, empowering them to be able to do their roles well, providing feedback and handling concerns.
    Demonstrating dignity and respect when interacting with others
    Tracking project progress, deadlines, and assign duties (using software)
    Ensuring production contracts are filled in a timely manner, to company standards.
    Supervise Day Program Participants engaged in various work center projects and on outings
    Be a safety ambassador in the workplace: model safe behaviour, Lead OHC meetings and inspections, make adjustments, improvements and accommodations as necessary

Administrative
    Administrative duties in coordination with the Production Assistant including, but not limited to: reception duties, tracking inventory and placing material orders, maintaining records, completing reports/paperwork, communicating with stakeholders
    Sales
    Attend staff meetings and workshops as directed
    Ensure vehicle maintenance and documents are up-to-date in coordination with transportation staff
    Drafting departmental budgets for approval and preparing financial statements
    Preparing payroll for the Administrator
    Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and privacy as per the organizations policies.


REQUIREMENTS:

    A valid Saskatchewan Driver's license
    Minimum of University Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or another related field and a minimum of three years related experience in administration, sales or operations management.
