Our services include new house construction and full restoration for residential. We are looking for a full time Floor Covering Installer to join us.
Job duties
• Install various types of flooring materials, including carpet, hardwood, laminate, vinyl, and tile
• Estimate materials, measure and mark layout lines on surfaces, install materials according to blueprints and specifications, understand pattern layout
• Use appropriate tools and equipment to measure, cut, and install flooring materials accurately and efficiently
Ensure proper alignment and spacing of flooring materials for a professional finish
• Trim and finish edges of flooring materials as needed
Safely use hand and power tools, adhesives & fastening systems
• Evaluate and remediate substrate imperfection
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
1. Completion of secondary school is preferred.
2. Previous experience as a flooring installer or related field is preferred
3. Knowledge of different types of flooring materials and installation techniques
4. Attention to detail and ability to maintain a safe, clean and organized work area
5. Good communication and customer service skills
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to different installation challenges
