Job Description
Maria Montessori Academy is an independent school in the Gordon Head neighborhood of Victoria offering dynamic, hands-on learning to students from Preschool to Grade 12. We are a community based school boasting low student/teacher ratios and an all-around excellent working environment.
We are currently seeking certified Montessori ECE Director/Directress(es) to join our team in September 2024.
Qualifications
- Montessori certification (AMS, AMI, MACTE or equivalent)
- ECE certification
- Current First Aid or willingness to acquire
- Experience with team teaching
- Proven ability to effectively communicate with children, colleagues, and parents
- Commitment to professional growth
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excited to participate in extracurricular activities
- Enjoys working closely with colleagues from other classrooms/areas of the school to share ideas and problem solve
