The Job
At MIR Construction, we are in search of a Labourer to join our team. He/she will mainly be responsible for assisting the team with on site activities to get the job done safe and efficiently.
Duties of the Construction Labourer include:
•Prepare tools and materials to construction sites.
•Support skilled tradespersons like carpenters, bricklayers, Plumber, and roofers during construction tasks.
•Clean tools and equipment, gather tools and material.
•Remove rubble and debris at construction sites using necessary equipment.
•Perform other activities as required on the job site.
•Assist with construction activities on site accordingly.
•Prepare layouts in conformance to building code, using measuring tools.
•Maintain clean and safe workspace for the team.
Requirements for the role:
•Completion of high school is required.
•Experience is an asset.
•Have knowledge of safe operation of basic hand and power tools and workplace safety.
•Good communication skills.
•Work independently and be a team player.
•Physically demanding.
