Job duties
This position is responsible for overseeing the operation needs of the coffeehouse. Leading and developing a service focused team, while being proactive in maintaining and improving profitability. Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Delivers legendary customer service to all customers by acting with a customer comes first attitude and connecting with the customer. Discovers and responds to customer needs. Leads by example in coaching, training, and supervising team members to maintain the highest level of productivity, ensuring they understand and comply with company standards and policy/procedures regarding customer service, retail sales, cash handling, and food safety. Perform operational activities such as inventory control, scheduling, and sanitation, planning, maintaining stock and monitoring food supplies. Ensure correct quantities of baked goods, and savoury menu items are being produced daily using safe handling procedures and works within the management production schedule. Complete knowledge of bakery menu items and preparation. Manage the baking environment by maintaining quality, monitor over temperature and baking items, evaluate product against recipe standards. Visually merchandise and display all products to cafe standards.
Terms of employment
This is a full-time indefinite (permanent) position, working 40 hours/week.
Expected Employment Start Date: as soon as possible

$20.10/hour

Skills requirements – Education and Work experience
Education: secondary school required
Work Experience: two (2) years of experience as Bakery Cafe Supervisor required
Language requirements:
Spoken and written English required
