The City of Saint John is currently accepting resumes for the position of Administrative Assistant in our Finance Department. This position is responsible for a variety of clerical functions including processing payments to various venders for goods and services; invoicing and billing customers; as well as receiving and recording payments for various services.

The incumbent must have a community college diploma in Office Administration, a university Business Certificate or an equivalent program as well as six months previous experience in a similar role.

The successful applicant will be eligible to work a compressed work week of 4 days (Monday to Thursday) throughout the trial period of the City's recently adopted Compressed Work Week Trial. This schedule is subject to change.
