Job Summary: Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, the Director of Marketing will play a pivotal role in shaping the future direction of SinaLite as we embark on an exciting phase of expansion and growth. In this role, you will build, grow, and lead the marketing department and strategy through key stakeholder partnerships. The Director of Marketing’s mission will be to craft and execute demand generation and lead generation strategies that captivate target audiences and accelerate SinaLite’s growth trajectory.


Salary Range: $115,000.00 - $150,000.00


Location(s): This role can be fully remote with a preference for someone who could be at both our locations for 1-2 days a week or month or quarter, with access to their own vehicle. The ideal candidate would be able to come when needed. Locations include: 335 Steelcase Road East (L3R 1G3) and 61 McPherson Street (L3R 3L3).


Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a robust marketing strategy to increase inbound qualified leads and drive growth targets. 
  • Set brand strategy to ensure a branding presence that resonates with the target audience. 
  • Build, manage and coach members of the marketing team.
  • Develop strategies and oversee the execution of marketing campaigns including but not limited to performance marketing, email marketing, social media and content.
  • Build marketing dashboards tracking department, channel and agency KPIs. 
  • Set quarterly department OKRs and fully align the marketing department toward achieving them. 
  • Develop and execute annual marketing plans that outline key initiatives, timelines, required resources, and potential challenges to reach revenue targets. 
  • Identify and prioritize customer segments/channels that offer the highest growth potential. 
  • Determine new markets, channels and niches that align with the company's capabilities and  brand positioning. 
  • Identify potential strategic partnerships with other companies, influencers, or organizations that can amplify the brand's reach and credibility. 
  • Own and manage the marketing budget, including conducting periodic reviews with the finance team and reallocating funds from underperforming campaigns to those with high performance.
  • Refine the company's value proposition to make it more compelling and aligned with market needs. 
  • Review the current marketing technology stack to ensure it supports the team effectively.
  • Audit, document marketing processes and identify bottlenecks; develop SOPs for recurring marketing tasks. 
  • Introduce standardized templates for campaign planning. 
  • Implement automation tools for repetitive tasks such as email campaigns, social media posting, and lead nurturing. 
  • Work with Sales and ensure departmental alignment to maximize collaboration

Key Experience & Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with a proven track record of driving growth.
  • Marketing leadership in a scaling business.
  • Strong understanding of demand generation, performance marketing, email marketing, content and social. 
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing fulsome strategies to generate new leads that make a measurable impact to growth.
  • Experience in reporting and decision making based on data.
  • Able to build a team, infrastructure and systems to support high performance marketing.
  • Exceptional organizational skills to be able to manage a number of diverse projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to rapid and frequent change.
  • Good knowledge of technology solutions, including financial modeling and business analytics.
  • Proficient in using modern sales and marketing tools and technologies.
