Description

We are currently seeking a Fixture Fabricator to join our Saskatoon Manufacturing Plant.
Fixture Fabricators are hardworking, positive, and eager team members that work within a team to construct, alter, and repair weld jigs and fixtures as well as work on other various projects while incorporating lean manufacturing principles.

The Qualified Candidate will have:
- Grade 12 or GED Equivalency.
- Minimum of two years experience working in and knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Minimum of three years experience in welding or in the fabrication of parts using manual fabrication machines such as saws, brakes, lathes, and mills.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, including welding diagrams and symbols.
- Ability to use a variety of hand tools.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Good oral, and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform moderate physical demand in handling parts, tools, and welding equipment.  Frequently lifting or moving average weight material.
