Description

Quint is looking for an experienced handyperson helper to assist with repairs and suite turnover. This position will assist the Maintenance Supervisor within Quint owned property by carrying out general maintenance and repair tasks to provide a safe affordable living environment.
The successful candidate will:
Have a wide range of skills, with experience in trades, carpentry, building, and general construction;
Have general knowledge of building maintenance, with the aptitudes and ambition to learn new skills and constantly improve quality of work;
Have a general knowledge and successful experience in several or all of the following: drywall, (installation, taping, patching and finishing), painting, vinyl plank flooring installation, basic plumbing tasks such as drain cleaning and repair, faucet and toilet repair.
Have the ability to complete physically demanding tasks relevant to the position;
Possess a valid drivers license.
Be a strong team member and good communicator;
Be well-planned and well-organized; be flexible and willing to take on new challenges;
Be open to instruction and learning or improving skills;
Be able to work independently.
Have an understanding of Saskatoons core neighbourhoods, and issues facing individuals and families on low incomes
