JOB DUTIES:
Operate a commercial moving truck, following established routes and schedules. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the moving truck, reporting any issues or maintenance needs promptly.
Maintain driver’s daily log book by recording cargo information, fuel consumption, as well as service hours and distance;
Prepare relevant documentation, such as trip reports, bills of lading, etc. and report it to the manager;
Coordinate with the moving team to ensure seamless loading and unloading operations. Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members.
Interact professionally with customers, providing assistance and ensuring a positive experience during the moving process.
Safely load and unload furniture, boxes, and other items onto and from the truck, ensuring the proper handling and securing of items during transit.
Comply with the rules and regulations of the Ministry of Transportation and Miracle Movers by adhering to safety requirements.
REQUIREMENTS:
Valid commercial driver's license (DZ) with appropriate endorsements.
Clean driving record with no history of accidents or violations.
Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly.
Excellent driving and navigation skills.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Overnight travel is required.
