Job title: Advanced Dental Technician Supervisor

Employer: Pro-Art Dental Laboratory, located at 408-855 Broadview Avenue, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, M4K 3Z1
Main tasks:
• Undertake all aspects of prosthetic work including making bites, castings, mouth guards using the latest innovation and technology from Dental Industry
• Construct full and partial dentures to replace the partial loss or total loss of the teeth
• Restore complex cases by fabricating crowns, veneers, and bridges or creating dental implants
• Construct accurate models of the mouth and teeth from impressions of the patient's mouth taken by the dentist
• Correct dental irregularities by manufacturing fixed or removable appliances, such as dentures, braces, and retainers
• Replace missing facial and body tissues due to injury, disease, or developmental abnormality by fabricating maxillofacial prostheses
• Plan the cases, read instructions, and communicate with doctors
• Use traditional methods and increasingly CAD/CAM for designing dental devices for single tooth to full mouth reconstruction, implants using the newest 3 Shape, Sirona, and ZirkonZahn system
• Use various dental techniques for restorative work including diagnostic wax-ups, Smile Design cases, dental composite work, and IPS e.max Press restorations
• Following up on treatment plan, and balancing occlusion
• Supervise and train the technicians with Pro Art Dental
• Manage the technicians, and ensure quality control of all aspects of their prosthetic work
• Maintain dental laboratory records and prepare reports on laboratory activities
• Communicate with clients, dentists and doctors and provide technical support when needed.
Job requirements:
• Minimum 5 years prior experience working in dentistry;
• University or Technical level Degree in the dentistry field;
• Minimum 1 year of CAD/CAM experience;
• Good knowledge of digital technology such as CBCT (Cone Beam CT scan) to support surgeons in planning procedures using software such as co-Diagnostix, 3Shape Implant Studio and 360 DPS;
• Must be knowledgeable with oral surgical procedures as well as implant restorations;
• Must have good knowledge of the major Implant systems;
• Ability to work effectively with our digital, CAD/CAM and prosthetic teams to provide complete planning utilizing our Face Hunter Software;
• Professional attitude with excellent communication skills and a passion for learning the latest advancements in digital technology.
Conditions:
As a valued member of Pro-Art Dental Laboratory, you will receive a competitive hourly wage of 40.87$ depending on skills and experience. Working hours are 40 per week. You will receive 1.5% more than the regular wages for the hours worked overtime. The offer is permanent and on a full-time basis.
