Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Will train
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses -Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO) licence

Tasks
• Calculate premiums
• Establish client insurance coverage
• Establish method of payment
• Ensure appropriate forms, medical examinations and other policy requirements are completed
• Monitor insurance claims and respond to clients' enquiries
• Provide information concerning group and individual insurance packages, the range of risk coverage, benefits paid and other policy features
• Sell automobile, fire, health, life, property, marine, aircraft and other types of insurance
• Actively pursue potential clients through networking, cold calling, building referrals and implementing sales tactics to identify sales opportunities and client needs
• Assess risk and advise clients of insurance coverages altered to clients' needs including policy features such as discounts and coverage requirements
• Prepare quotations tailored to client requirements, risk profiles and binding upon client proposal
• Manage insurance applications, endorsements, and paperwork efficiently through ensuring the correct documentation is in the broker management system
• Monitor insurance claims and respond to clients' enquiries
• Adhere to RIBO regulations and ethical guidelines in client interactions by maintaining confidentiality of sensitive data appropriately
