Facility: LA RONGE SITE
Job Description: Under the supervision of the Director, Primary Health Care NE, the home care nurse provides nursing services as assigned in accordance with the current Home Care Nursing Manual and SRNA and/or RPNAS Practice Standards.
Required Qualifications

Current CPR Certification
Registered or eligible for registration with the Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of Saskatchewan (RPNAS) or College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
Experience
Minimum of 2 years related experience in community or geriatric nursing preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to deal with clients in their homes and adapt to frequent changes
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Be physically fit and able to perform duties as outlined
Demonstrate empathy, concern and interest in providing quality care for all home care clients
Demonstration of efficiency and a calm manner in providing nursing services
Must possess effective communication skills and the ability to relate to all individuals
