Job duties
• Supervise operations of food truck specializing in European pastry
• Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of baking personnel and kitchen stuff
• Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods
• Draw up production schedule to determine type and quantity of goods to produce
• Hire and train baking personnel and kitchen staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Purchase baking supplies
• Prepare dough for chimney cakes (doughnut-like, rotisserie baked European pastries) and cones according to recipes or special customer orders
• Bake mixed doughs and batters
• Frost and decorate cakes or other baked goods
• Operate machinery
Terms of employment
Indeterminate (permanent), full-time (40 hours/week).
Expected Employment Start Date: as soon as possible
Wage
$28.85/hour

Skills requirements – Education and Work experience
Education: Secondary school required; completion of a training program for bakers an asset.
Work Experience: At least three years of experience as baker required. Some supervisory experience desirable. At least one year of experience with preparation of yeast dough required.
Language requirements:
Oral and written English required.
