Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Buyer to join our team. The Buyer will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials and services to meet the company's operational needs.
Duties:
Study market reports, trade periodicals and sales promotion materials
Establish and maintain contact with suppliers
Maintain adequate stock levels
Negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms and transportation arrangements with suppliers
Review requirements of establishment and determine quantity and type of merchandise to purchase
Qualifications:
Completion of college is required.
Previous work experience in retail or wholesale establishments is asset.
In-depth knowledge and understanding of global transportation services.
Solid communication and multi-task skills.
Experience in sourcing materials and services to meet operational requirements
