7 Enoteca is looking for One (1) Bar Manager to perform the following duties:
• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of the restaurant bar
• Oversee bar staff training
• Set bar staff work schedules and monitor performance
• Control bar inventory: order and maintain inventory of wines and wine glassware
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• May perform tasks of bar staff: make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages; Recommend wines that complement patrons' meals; Perform sensory evaluation of wines.
Terms of Employment:
• Salary: $34.62 per hour ($72,000 per year)
• Permanent, Full Time / 40 Hours per week
• Start Date: Immediately
Skills Requirements:
• Language: English
• Education: Secondary education or equivalent experience; Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management is an asset; Responsible beverage service certification is an asset.
• Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience as a wine professional; Must have demonstrated broad and in-depth knowledge of Italian wine brands and products.
