POSITION: Automotive Service Technician

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: PERMANENT FULL TIME
WAGE RATE: $33.75 PER HOUR (FOR 40 HOURS PER WEEK)
EDUCATION: SECONDARY SCHOOL (HIGH SCHOOL)
EXPERIENCE: 3-5 YEARS
LANGUAGE: ENGLISH

JOB DUTIES:
•Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, transmission flushes, air conditioners-charges, front-end alignments, battery installations, and headlight/taillight installations
•Conduct extensive diagnostic procedures to determine the sources of customer problems and provide accurate repair recommendations
•Inspect and repair vehicle computer and electronic system
•Repair or replace parts that are worn or not working properly and replace them with new or used parts
•Conduct necessary repairs and take vehicles for test drives to verify the work done
•Maintain accurate paperwork to record problems and work performed for records
•Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety
•Advise customers on work performed and discuss options with clients
•Perform other related duties as required
WORK SETTING: THE CANDIDATE SHOULD BE AVAILABLE TO WORK FULL-TIME IN THE DAY OR EVENING OR ON THE WEEKENDS AND ALSO READY TO WORK OVERTIME WHEN REQUIRED.
