Under the steady leadership of its founder, Jack Lam and his partner, Bill Cheng, Lam Metal has grown from a metal roofing subcontractor to manufacturing and installations. As of 2007, Lam Metal separated its subcontract business from manufacturing by opening another company, LMC Manufacturing Ltd to deal with its growth and service its customers better.

Lam Metal (and its manufacturing division, LMC Manufacturing) is always on the lookout for new ideas and products. The most recent additions to our product line are the Spectrum Linear Clad, SS200 2? Standing Seam, and Flex Series, an elegant and versatile panel suitable for roof, wall and soffit applications.

Job Duties: 
1.Collaborate with the executive team to develop strategic goals and initiatives aligned with the the company's mission and vision. Translate strategic objectives into actionable plans for company’s daily operations, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
2.Oversee all aspects of daily operations, including manufacturing, installation, logistics, and quality control, to ensure smooth and efficient workflow. Work closely with production managers, project managers, and field supervisors to prioritize projects, allocate resources, and ensure effective communication at all times.
3.Conduct regular performance evaluations, set clear objectives, and provide constructive feedback to drive employee engagement and professional development. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to operational performance, sales targets, and customer satisfaction to drive continuous improvement.
4.Centralize resources and tools, such as sales data, market research, and operational manuals, to provide divisions with access to valuable information and support. Empower department leaders to make informed decisions and resolve issues.
5.Work closely with other departments such as finance, sales, human resources, construction, manufacturing, and customer service to coordinate activities and achieve business objectives. Participate in executive meetings and provide insights and recommendations on sales and operational matters to support strategic decision-making.
6.Monitor resource utilization, production output, sales performance, and project progress against established goals and benchmarks. Identify any deviations from planned resource allocation or performance targets and take corrective actions as necessary to mitigate risks and ensure the successful implementation of policies and programs.
7.Hold department managers and team leaders accountable for adhering to allocated budgets, timelines, and quality standards while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
8.Cultivate trust, credibility, and goodwill on behalf of the company to enhance its reputation and influence in relevant circles. Leverage expertise, authority, and strategic perspective in negotiations to achieve favourable outcomes.
9.Evaluate current team structure and dynamics and performance gaps, anticipate future growth and changes to guide the recruitment and selection of middle managers and leaders.


Qualifications:
1.At least a college diploma in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, other related fields, or equivalent work experience is required for this position.
2.3+ years of experience in a middle-level management position in a related industry.
3.Proven track record of leadership, strategic planning, and financial management.
4.Strong analytical skills and business acumen with the ability to develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business objectives.
5.Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
