Ironworker
At Newton Rebar Services Ltd., we provide you with a positive work environment and hold our Ironworkers in high regard as they are an integral part of our business. We are currently looking for 2 Ironworker to join our company. you have to perform the following duties.
1. Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms
2. Signal crane operators to position units according to blueprints
3. Align, weld or bolt units in place
4. Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
5. Position and secure steel bars or metal mesh in concrete forms to reinforce concrete structures
6. Unload and position steel units so each piece can be hoisted as needed
