Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work setting: Rural area. Tasks: Operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products. Professionalism in customer service. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Sell products over established routes. Assemble, install and set-up merchandise/products. Prepare, package and restock goods. Load and unload goods. Use maps and other trip planning aids. Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems. Perform administrative tasks. Pay and receive payments for goods. Provide customer service. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Air Brakes Endorsement. Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles). Class 4/4F/F/4A-B-C Licence (ambulances, emergency vehicles and buses with fewer than 24 passengers). Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles). Air Brake (Z) Endorsement. Driver's License (Class 3 or D). DZ class license. Transportation/travel experience: Local. Regional. Provincial/territorial. Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract). Medical exam. Basic security clearance. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Vehicle supplied by employer. Willing to travel for extended periods. Valid driver's licence.
