Inner Recovery Center in Burnaby, BC is looking for a skilled and experienced Full-time, Permanent Physiotherapist assistant (PTA).
Conditions
Position: Physiotherapist assistant(PTA) (Full-Time, Permanent position)
Wage: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour (Wages to be determined based on experience and skills)
Working hours: 30 ~ 40 hours per week (Shifted Schedule)
Vacation: 10 days paid vacation per year or 4 % gross salary

Requirements
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: 2 years or more of experience

Job Duties
Administer tests using equipment, instruct patients on test procedures and record results, and monitor, check and calibrate auditory equipment
Assess patients' physical abilities
Assist physicians in the assessment of patients
Carry out treatment programs, under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists, to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities
Set up and dismantle equipment
Administer evaluative tests and procedures
Clean and maintain equipment
Maintain clinical and progress reports
Maintain inventory of equipment
Document patient rehabilitation progress
Prepare and maintain cleanliness of collection areas
Schedule and confirm appointments
Teach and/or supervise exercises to patients
