Job Duties:
Plan, coordinate, oversee, manage, and assess the activities of the personnel or human resources departments.
Plan needs for human resources in collaboration with other department managers.
Coordinate hiring and training initiatives both within and externally.
Create and execute labor relations guidelines and protocols and engage in collective bargaining negotiations.
Oversee language instruction, employee development, and health and safety initiatives.
Provide guidance and support to fellow department managers regarding the administration and interpretation of personnel policies and initiatives.
Oversee the rating and classification of professions.
Arrange and carry out informational meetings for employees regarding employment policies, benefits, and pay. Additionally, take an active role in a number of joint committees.
Oversee the company's quality control program.
Make sure laws like the Pay Equity Act are followed.
Education & Experience Requirement:
Completion of Secondary School is required.
Completion of bachelor’s degree or professional development program in the field it required.
1year or more experience in the field is required.
