Description

We are looking for an Auto(TRUCK) Transmission Mechanic to join our team! You will be responsible for repairing various vehicles and transmission systems.

Responsibilities:

Inspect and test mechanical units, such as engines, transmissions, axles and brake systems, to locate faults and malfunctions
Diagnose faults or malfunctions and confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit
Repair automobiles, trucks, buses, and other motor vehicles. Brands like Volvo, Peterbilt, Mack, Freightliner, Kenworth, International
Specialize in vehicle manual/automatic transmission systems
Perform routine vehicle maintenance
Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer
Repair or replace mechanical units or components using hand and power tools
Test and adjust units to specifications for proper performance
Complete reports to record problems and work performed.

Qualifications: Apprenticeship; 5 to 7 years experience

Previous experience as a mechanic
Knowledge of shop equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
