You’ll love it here too.The opportunity In the role of a Transfers Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating seamless and secure financial and non-financial transactions for registered plans (RRSP/RRIF/TFSA/Pensions). Your responsibilities will include managing the transfer process and account maintenance, while ensuring compliance with regulations, and collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver exceptional service. This role will report to the Manager, Trust Services.What you’ll be doing Processing transfer requests in accordance with service level agreements, ensuring timely completion and adherence to established policies and procedures.Monitor the transfers mailbox and efficiently handle incoming mail, promptly initiating new manual, Fundserv, and ATON transfers. Receive and respond to day-to-day inquiries/requests and escalate where necessary.Act as an expert in all transfer related processes, offering operational assistance to external institutions and providing direct support to the CWB branch network to enhance the customer experience and deliver “best in class” service.Tracking and monitoring the status of all transfers, and following up through phone, fax, or email on all outstanding incoming transfers to ensure a timely completion. Proactively address potential procedure enhancements and best practices, sharing with leaders and peers. Who we’re looking for & what you’ve doneCore knowledge requirementsMinimum of 1 year experience in a back office administration at a financial securities firmIntermediate MS Office skills (Word, Excel & Outlook)Skills to take you further:Extremely detail oriented and accurate, with excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills to meet required deadlines daily.Ability to work under high pressure and meet strict deadlines in a busy and fast-paced environment.Strong problem-solving skills.Strong team player in the department and across departments, with a desire and the initiative to become a subject matter expert over time and to reach out and understand the functions of other departments in Operations.Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are welcomed.Customer service orientated with professional telephone mannerWillingness to adapt to changing processes and industry regulationsWhy work with us?Your success is our obsession!
