Description

The Ministry of Justice and Attorney General is responsible for providing a fair justice system that upholds the law and protects the rights of all individuals in Saskatchewan; promotes safe and secure communities; and provides legal and justice policy advice to assist government.

The Public Guardian and Trustee is seeking a confident, ethical, and well-organized individual for an interesting and challenging Assistant Trust Officer position in the Estate Services unit. The Estate Services unit administers the estates of deceased persons where no one else is willing and protects the property of persons whose whereabouts are unknown.

In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining client files, preparing a diverse variety of correspondence and legal documents, locating and securing assets of clients such as real property and bank accounts, as well as responding to inquiries from beneficiaries, family members, executors, solicitors, and other government agencies.

Our candidate of choice will be an energetic and positive individual who enjoys a fast-paced environment with interesting and challenging work. The successful candidate will have knowledge of office and filing procedures, the knowledge and ability to prepare and compose correspondence using clear and concise language and the knowledge to compose and prepare legal documents.
