Job Description

. Maintain a high standard of quality, ensuring that all Safety Standards &

. Policies are strictly followed

. Project coordination, reviewing of plans, schedules, and constructing, activating, and working with multiple contractor resources.

. Ensure that project information and updates are recorded/reported to the correct parties in a timely, accurate and in a professional manner.

. Liaise with appropriate departments

. Recognize, identify, and correct potential problems and offer viable solutions.

. Hands on experience of fiber splicing, testing, characterization, documentation, and troubleshooting.

. Test, research and implement all new equipment and test equipment and processes into construction.

. Learn and adhere to all applicable Health and Safety regulations, in accordance with legislation and related Company policies.

. Digging holes and trenches

. Experienced in concrete and asphalt restoration

. General site preparation and clean-up as directed

. Handle and distribute construction materials, as well as safely loading and unloading vehicles with supplies and equipment as directed

. Able to read construction plans

. Able to run gas and power equipment (i.e. saws, drills, jumping jacks)

. Able to train other team members

Job Requirements:
Languages
English

Education
College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years

Experience
1 year to less than 2 years
