Work Location:?Candidates are required to work at various locations in Lower Mainland, Greater Vancouver, as per company contracts.
Wage rate:?$29.00 per hour (40 hours per week)
Education:? High School required
Experience:?2-3 years of relevant experience.
Language:?Basic Knowledge of English.
Job Duties:?
Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitute, and other materials.
Go through given specifications, calculate requirements.
Study specifications in blueprints, sketches or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and material required.
Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in other establishments.
May prepare cost estimates for clients.
Maintain safe and secure working environment.
Fit, install and trim such as molding, stairs, and hardware.
Assemble and fasten material to make framework or props, using hand tools and wood screws, nails and nail guns.
Working setting:?The candidate should be available to work full-time in the day or evening or on weekends, if required.
Working Conditions:?Candidate should be able to lift weight (50lbs). Should be willing to work outdoors, indoors, rain, or shine.
Other Information: Candidate must be eligible to work in Canada. Position is available and open to Aboriginal persons, youth, new immigrants, and persons with disabilities.
