JOB REQUIREMENT
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Minimum 2 years experience
Language: English
JOB DUTIES
Read and understand construction drawings and blueprints to determine project specifications.
Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
Accurately measure, cut, and shape wood, plywood, and other materials according to specifications.
Construct frameworks, including walls, floors, and roofs, using nails, screws, and adhesives.
Install doors, windows, cabinets, and other fixtures as per project requirements.
Repair damaged frameworks or structures and ensure they meet safety standards.
Sand, stain, and varnish wood surfaces to achieve a polished finish.
Work closely with other construction professionals, including electricians, plumbers, and laborers, to complete projects efficiently.
Prepare estimates of labor and/or material costs
Working setting : Construction, residential and commercial.
