Positions vacant for: Heavy Equipment Mechanic (NOC 72401)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
Wages: $32.00 per hour
Hours: 35- 40 hours per week
Vacancies: 1 Position available

Main Duties:
• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
• Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions,
• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems,
• Perform scheduled maintenance service
• Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment.
• Assists other mechanics with the more difficult assignments.
• Ensure priority tasks are complete on time.
• Working in collaboration with the repair team and other fellow team members.
• Performs other related work as required.
Additional Skills: Estimate parts and labour costs
Job Requirements:
Education: Completion of Secondary school education is required
Experience: 3 - 5 years of work experience and industry courses in heavy equipment repair
Language: Must be able to communicate in English
Personal Suitability: Flexibility, Organized, Reliability, Judgement, Team player
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling
