Route King Transport Ltd. located at 449 Saddle Ridge Lane, East Saint Paul, MB, R2E 0N6 is looking for Full-Time Long-Haul Truck Drivers to join their team as soon as possible.

Positions vacant for: Long Haul Truck Driver
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
Wages: $25.00 per hour
Hours: 50 - 60 hours per week
Vacancies: 7 Positions available
Anticipated start date: As soon as possible

Main Duties:
• Load and unload goods,
• Drive lighter, special purpose trucks,
• Perform preventive maintenance,
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials,
• Perform brake adjustments,
• Perform emergency roadside repairs,
• Transport and handle dangerous goods,
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption,
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle,
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment,
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch,
• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy,
• Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
Job Requirements:
Education: Completion of Secondary school education is required
Experience: No work experience is required, will train.
Language: Must be able to communicate in English
• Must have Class 1 Driver's License with air brake endorsement
• Must be willing to travel Cross-Border,

Location of Work: Drivers will be required to travel across Canada and into 48 states across the USA.
