Le Boulanger Francais – The French Baker is looking to hire one baker to join their team. We
are a hardworking group of people dedicated to serving the best experience for our guests.
We have operated in our current location for 28 years.

Title of the position: Baker - NOC 63202-3
Number of positions available: One.
Term of employment: 35h to 40h per week – full time – permanent position.
Language: English or French.
Wage: C$20.00 per hour.
Employment Groups: Students, Youth, Visible Minorities, persons with disabilities, Indigenous People, Newcomers to Canada, Apprentices, Refugee Claimants with valid work permit.
Job Duties
• Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and baking equipment.
• Clean kitchen equipment and tools before use
• Weigh flour and other ingredients to prepare dough
• Bake different bread types, like levain, baguettes and multigrain breads
• Adjust oven temperatures to ensure proper baking
• Mix various ingredients to create fillings for cakes and pies (e.g. chocolate ganache, caramel sauce and fruits, etc.)
• Shape dough to prepare different types of pastries, including vienoiseries, cookies and brioche.
• Recommend recipes to renew our menu and attract more customers.
• Track food supplies and place orders, as needed.
• Other duties as required.
Requirements
• 2 years experience as a Baker/Pastry.
• High School Diploma.
• Familiar with industry best practices.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational skills.
• Accuracy and speed in executing tasks.
• Ability to work as a team member.
• Follow direction and instructions.
