Duties:
• Delegate tasks to workers who prepare and serve food;
• Supervise the activities of Kitchen staff;
• Establish work schedules;
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies;
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage;
• Prepare and submit reports;
• Ensure food service and quality control;
• Hire & Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures;
• Coach employees about how to improve their work habits;
• Ensure that employees follow all safety and health codes;
• Handle complaints from customers when they arise.
