Zadel Jewellery Studio Inc. of 1808 Boatlift Lane, Granville Island, Vancouver, BC V6H 3Y2, requires a permanent, full-time hand fabrication jeweller experienced in working with platinum.
Salary range $29.00 - $30.00p/h.
The successful applicant will be required to
- Hand fabricate and repair platinum jewellery, such as rings, brooches, pendants, bracelets and lockets,
- Appraise gemstones and diamonds to differentiate between stones, identify rare specimens and detect peculiarity affecting stone values,
- Set diamonds, precious and semi-precious stones in platinum jewellery mountings, according to specifications,
- May supervise other staff in hand-fabricating jewellery in platinum and other precious metal jewellery.
Applicants must speak English fluently.
Applicants must have
- 2 years of platinum jewellery hand fabrication experience and
- PUK and Laser welding machine experience.
Preference will be given to candidates with post-secondary related credentials, and GIA certification or other gemstone certification credentials.
