Specific Skills
• Interpret welding process specifications,
• Determine weldability of materials,
• Operate previous welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products,
• Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding,
• Performing welding related repairs on the chassis, trucks and trailers,
• Examine the equipment after welding and advise maintenance of defects
• Plan/set up of welding operations accordingly
• Maintains responsibility for all tools and equipment
• Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps
• Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws
