Job Responsibilities
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings, perform calculations, and prepare layouts.
• Ability to measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials
• Finish surface of woodwork in houses and building, using hand tools and paneling.
• Operate power as well as hand tools.
• Work on new projects, remodels, or additions to existing wooden structures.
• Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures
• Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes
• Install structures and fixtures, such as windows and molding
• Direct other construction workers
Job Requirements
• Completion of High School
• 1-2 years of work experience in the trade is required
• Ability to communicate in English
• Ability and willingness to work independently with limited supervision
• Full Time Availability
