Business Location – 6160 127 Street, Surrey, BC, V3X3M6
Pay Rate -$ 30.00/hour, 40 hours per week
Location of work – All over lower mainland
Education Required – High School
Experience Required - 4 to 5 years of work experience.
Language – Basic English
Employment terms – Full time, Permanent
Anticipation Date – As soon as possible.
Duties to be performed at job:
• Reading and interpreting Blueprints, Drawings and sketches to calculate requirements.
• Using measuring tools to prepare building layouts.
• Measuring, Cutting, Shaping, Assembling and joining wood materials.
• Fitting and installing items like doors, stairs and moulding.
• Install floor beams, erect walls and roof systems.
• Maintaining, Repairing and Renovating wooden structures in different establishments.
• Selecting suitable lumber and other wood within budget and meeting style specifications.
• Preparing cost estimates for clients.
• Working and keeping the workplace clean.
Environment at workplace – noisy and dusty, hot and cold temperatures.
Physical capabilities required at work – bending, crouching and kneeling, physically demanding, large workload.
