Requirements:
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience and skills:
o Minimum of 1 year of experience in automotive refinishing
o Completion of a relevant apprenticeship program or equivalent training.
o Familiar with installing variety of infotainment and navigation system.
o Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
o Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
o Good communication and customer service skills.
o Valid Ontario G driver’s license.
Duties include:
• Review damage reports and plan repair work.
• Repair and replace body components, doors, and underbody parts.
• Hammer out dents, use fillers to repair holes and seams.
• Install aftermarket body kits.
• Repair chipped glass panel or replaced damaged glass panel.
• Remove and replace damaged panels using hand tools and welding equipment.
• File, grind, and sand body surfaces to prepare for painting.
• Mask and tape surfaces for paint application.
• Mix paint, blend, and match colors.
• Apply primers and paint using spray guns.
• Inspect and test repaired vehicles for proper handling and finish quality.
You will also be required to complete the reconditioning work and modifying of in-stock vehicle based on request.
• Installing aftermarket and original infotainment and navigation system.
• Installing aftermarket and original rear-view camera or 360 top-view camera system.
• Installing aftermarket and original driver assistance module.
Job details:
• Terms of employment: Full time, permanent position.
• Hours: 35 hours per week.
• Wage: $27/hour.
• Bonus: A performance-based bonus may be provided.
