Bender Painting & Decorating Ltd. located at 12837 76 Ave, Surrey, BC V3W 2V3, is one of the Lower Mainland’s most reputable painting and restoration companies operating since 1970. Our company specializes in Painting and Restoration work using top quality painting by top quality painters. We also offer full insulation services and full drywall services or drywall repairs as well as wallpaper services in both residential and commercial sites. Our business is growing, and we need 2 painters to join our team.
These are full-time, permanent positions working 40 hours per week. The successful candidates will have a minimum of 2 years experience. The salary is $26.00 per hour. We offer medical and dental benefits after 6 months of full-time employment.
Job Duties
• Implement all your experience in the renovation painting field
• Painting exterior and interior projects
• Repair cracks and holes
• Mix paint to desired colour and texture
• Apply sealer and paint to surfaces as required
• Prepare and clean your job site entirely at daily and at the end of your job
• Complete jobs and follow instructions set out by your supervisor
• Keep work area clean and be respectful of the property.
Requirements
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a painter or painter’s assistant
• Experience with brush painting, roller painting and paint spraying
• Ability to lift and carefully manipulate objects up to 50+ pounds in weight on a regular basis.
• Attention to detail
• Hand-eye co-ordination
• Ability to distinguish between colours
• Bending, crouching, kneeling
• Must have clean criminal record
