Ikon Mushroom Ltd. located at 16605 88 Ave Surrey, British Columbia V4N 1E9 is looking to recruit 3 truck drivers for their fleet operating all over BC.
Job Requirements/Details:
No. of Positions: 3 (Fulltime/Permanent)
Salary: $28/hr for 50 hours per week.
Education: Minimum High School
Credentials: Driver's License BC Class 1 or equivalent
Experience: Previous experience is an asset. On job training will be provided
Languages: Read, Write and Speak English
Type of Trucking and Equipment: Tractor Trailer, Dump Truck
Type of Travel: Long Haul, province wide
Documentation Knowledge: Knowledge of Driver logbook, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Maintenance and repair reports, Trip reports, Accident or incident reports
Duties to be performed:
Driver must also be able to drive truck to transport goods and materials, loading and unloading goods, plan travel schedules and routes, oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights brakes and other equipment. Also, perform brake adjustments, monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness and perform preventative maintenance. Communicate with dispatcher, other drivers and customers. Willing to travel for extended periods
